Rand Environmental Services, Inc has been a licensed abatement contractor since 1993, having completed hundreds of projects in the states in which we are licensed. In almost all cases, these projects are industrial or large commercial projects in scope. Our expertise includes nuclear and coal fired power plants, automotive plants, chemical plants, steel manufacturing plants, petroleum plants, and several large scale pre-demolition industrial and commercial projects.
Yes. Rand adheres to strict safety regulations to ensure asbestos does not move to uninvolved areas. This includes sealing off any part of a building’s ventilation system that may be present in the area.
No. Negative air machines are used to draw potentially contaminated air across a series of HEPA filters to remove any asbestos fibers.
During asbestos abatement, third-party air monitoring is on site to monitor asbestos levels. After the abatement project is complete, a thorough inspection is completed with a Rand supervisor and a third-party industrial hygienist.
Asbestos, or asbestos containing materials (ACM), are placed in special bags and marked accordingly. An approved asbestos hauler will pick-up the material from the job site and deliver it to a secure landfill that accepts this type of hazardous material and properly disposes of it.
